On the afternoon of March 27, 2026, the Faculty of English Language at Lac Hong University successfully hosted an ASU Master Class titled “Entrepreneurial Mindset: Your Competitive Advantage as a Technology Innovator.” This event is part of a series of international standard training activities under the ASU-Cintana partnership, aimed at helping students unlock their entrepreneurial potential and enhance their competitive edge.

A Key to Breaking Boundaries for Language Students Moving beyond traditional theoretical lessons, the workshop provided a practical perspective: the Entrepreneurial Mindset is not exclusive to business majors but serves as a vital "weapon" for language students to adapt to any field. Through group discussions and debates, students experienced a comprehensive process: Identifying Problems – Trial and Error – Adjustment. This approach helps students realize that an entrepreneurial mindset is the ability to view challenges as opportunities for innovation and value creation.
Applying the 7Cs Model to Resolve "My Bug List" A professional highlight of the workshop was the introduction and practice of the 7Cs Model. This logical thinking tool enables students to analyze and connect data to solve problems effectively. In particular, students directly applied this model to address their “My Bug List”—the bottlenecks in their skills, habits, or personal mindsets. By breaking down specific issues, learners developed proactiveness, flexibility, and confidence when facing academic challenges and future career orientations.

A Playground for Professional English Communication The ASU Master Class was more than just a place to acquire new mindsets; it served as an ideal environment for language practice. Students from the Faculty of English Language demonstrated their global integration capabilities through:
English Presentations: Many students impressed the audience with coherent presentations and logically structured content.
Dynamic Debates: Lively discussion sessions helped upgrade students' reflexes and mastery of communication in a foreign language.
Open Environment: The interactive space fostered networking, peer learning, and inspiration across different student cohorts.

Affirming the ASU-Cintana International Training Orientation
The workshop once again reaffirmed the commitment of the Faculty of English Language at LHU to implementing the collaboration program with Arizona State University (ASU) and the Cintana Alliance. Today's English majors do not stop at linguistic proficiency; they are equipped with a 21st-century skill set: Entrepreneurial Thinking, Innovation, and Global Adaptability.

The success of the ASU Master Class on “Entrepreneurial Mindset” has infused students with positive energy, preparing them to become high-quality professionals in an ever-changing labor market.
